Aspire Program

Mentorship supporting young adults, aged 16 – 25, to achieve their training and employment goals. Our mentorship program includes a variety of opportunities including individual, group, short- and long-term mentoring matches. We are currently recruiting volunteers with a variety of backgrounds and work experience. Full training is provided as well as many other opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Bingo Fundraising

In partnership with Delta Bingo and Gaming Centre, JHS Peterborough receives a portion of the money made each month in exchange for 2 Bingo shifts per month. Each shift lasts about 2.5 hours, and Bingo volunteers help players who win, pick up garbage, and be a friendly presence during the games! This fundraising initiative provides direct financial support to all our clients, and has paid for veterinary bills, food support, transportation support, life-skills workshops, & much more.
