The Aspire Program aims to support young adults, aged 17 – 25, in achieving their training and employment goals through mentorship.
We believe that supportive relationships are instrumental in achieving these goals despite the many barriers that young adults may face as they enter the world of training and careers. By building skills and getting involved in the community, young adults can make steps toward achieving their goals.
Mentors contribute to this success by modeling employment-related skills and behaviours sharing industry specific knowledge and information and by becoming a caring, consistent figure in young adults’ lives.
