Welcome to the John Howard Society of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton website.
Providing crime prevention services for over 30 years, the Society is a non-profit, multi service organization with offices located in Lindsay and Minden. Through prevention, education, and interventions JHSCKLH works with at risk youth and adults through a variety of programs and services.
COVID-19 Policy:
Our doors are open! We continue to recommend calling prior to attending, but not a requirement for service.
Crisis and harm reduction services are available through walk in from Monday to Thursday 11:00am to 7:00pm and Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm @ 22 Peel Street, Lindsay (back door).
We continue to follow all public health guidelines and screening regarding Covid-19. We are here to help – delivering services while supporting public health. We are in this together!
Please note we are closed on all statutory holidays.
