The Partner Assault Response (PAR) program is a court-ordered program to address intimate partner violence. The objective of the program is to promote non-violent behaviours and non-controlling attitudes in individuals who have assaulted their partner. The program challenges participants to recognize and accept responsibility for their behaviour and encourages them to examine their belief systems about power and control in intimate relationships.
There are program fees for PAR based on a sliding scale.
1:1 PAR sessions are available at a program fee of $800.
We support victim safety through confidential outreach to victims who have been abused. While an individual is enrolled in the PAR program, the Partner Support Worker will contact the past and/or current partner of the PAR participant to offer support, information, and referrals.
