Attendance Centre

The Attendance Centre provides intensive individual support and psychoeducational programming to youth involved in an active Youth Probation Order. Probation refers the youth to JHS of the Kawarthas for programs that target reducing recidivism. Probation, caregivers, and youth collaborate to ensure the contributing factors of their behaviours are addressed. The delivery of this service is client centered and trauma informed.

Evidence-based programming is provided in areas such as emotion regulation, anger management, healthy relationships and consent, and property crime prevention. Support with developing life skills and attaining education and employment goals is also provided.
