Anger is a completely normal healthy human emotion. The problem begins when anger gets out of control, turns destructive and affects our personal relationships and other areas of our lives.

The John Howard Society of Peterborough offers an 8 week group training program to teach participants self-monitoring and self-management skills that allow them to reduce the intensity, frequency and duration of their anger. Some of the topics covered are:
- The ABC’s of Anger; Self Talk; Respectful Listening; Understanding Physical Cues; Styles of Communication; Time Out Strategy; Conflict Resolution & Stress Management
All individuals enrolling are required to complete an Intake for the program.
Sliding scale Fees are available and are to be paid in full before being accepted to the program. The next group starting date is yet to be determined.
