Anger Management

* Presently conducting intakes for a February Anger Group.

Tuesday afternoons from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m

Anger is a completely normal and healthy human emotion. The problem begins when anger gets out of control, turns destructive, and affects our personal relationships, work, and other areas of our lives.

Is Anger Management right for you?   Are you a male over the age of 18?

The John Howard Society of Peterborough offers an 8-week group training program to teach participants self-monitoring and self-management skills that allow them to reduce the intensity, frequency, and duration of their anger.  Sessions will cover: understanding anger, when and why anger gets out of hand, skills to prevent that, skills to deal with stressful situations, and skills to avoid aggressive situations.

All individuals enrolling are required to complete an Intake for the program and pay a $40 deposit for the place in group.

Group Fee:  Sliding scale

Individual Anger Management Workshop:  In person or Zoom (10 hrs. of instruction) $750.00
