Partner Assault Response Program (PAR)
June 21, 2025 - The Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program is a 12-session Domestic Violence Court initiative that delivers a specialized community-based group intervention program to give individuals the opportunity to examine their beliefs and attitudes towards intimate partner violence and to learn non-abusive ways of resolving conflict. This program is ideal for those 18 years and older. Funding provided by the Government of Ontario; however, this program is also supported through fee-for-service. Record Suspension Support
June 21, 2025 - A Record Suspension, formerly known as a Pardon, allows those who were convicted of criminal offences and have completed their sentences to have their criminal record removed from the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) database. Obtaining a record suspension can help you to access employment, volunteer, and educational opportunities more easily, and to better reintegrate back into your home communities. MAPS Program
June 21, 2025 - The Mental Health and Addictions Peer Support (MAPS) Program is staffed by Peer Support Workers, who are individuals with lived experience, and will work with you one-on-one to explore recovery goals and help connect you with community supports and services. MAPS provides connections to mental health services, addiction services, housing supports, cultural resources, accessing OW & ODSP, and more. Back on Track
June 21, 2025 - This fee for service program is overseen by the Ministry of Transportation and is managed throughout the province by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. CAMH contracts with local service providers, such as JHSWW, to provide assessment, programming and follow-up for people who have lost their license due to an impaired driving offence. The program focuses on attitudinal and behavioural change with the goal of eliminating drinking and driving together. Direct Accountability Program (DAP)
June 21, 2025 - This program allows adults charged with minor criminal offences in Provincial Court an opportunity to repair harm and address root causes of their crime. Upon successful completion, the charges are withdrawn. Unsuccessful cases go through the normal court process. This program clears court time by diverting those charges with minor offences and by reducing the number of court appearances. All referrals must be approved by the Crown Attorney.
Participants meet with the JHSWW Coordinator to establish a plan of action that will allow the person to be accountable for their actions without appearing before a judge. Examples of suitable plans…Read More

Community Service Order Program (CSO)
June 21, 2025 - As a probation order or as a conditional sentence, judges may order individuals to perform a specified number of hours of volunteer work in the community, at charitable organizations. JHSWW oversees the completion of these community work orders by setting up work placements, providing support to participating community agencies, and by verifying that the work order has been completed satisfactorily.
