A Different Street Supportive Housing Program
June 21, 2025 - A Different Street (ADS) Supportive Housing provides affordable accommodation and support to homeless or unstably housed young men, ages 16 to 24, who are justice-involved or at risk of being so. The John Howard Society of Ottawa and youturn youth support services are partners in this program.
ADS provides male youth an opportunity to access safe accommodations and utilize on-site supports to assist with their life goals. Volunteer Probation Court Intake Program
June 21, 2025 - Situated in the courthouse in St. Catharines, this program provides an intake, information, referral and scheduling service for the Youth Probation office in St. Catharines. The Volunteer Court Intake Worker meets with the client directly after sentencing and completes an intake with the client, including processing the court acknowledgement document and setting up a next reporting date with their probation officer. Clients are directly linked to their probation officer through this service and provided with clear reporting instructions.
