Youth in Transition

The Youth in Transition (YIT) Program provides a variety of supports to youth aged 16-25 who are involved with the Children’s Aid Society (CAS). The program is focused on supporting youth in their transition to adulthood. Program facilitators work with youth to connect them with education, employment, housing, and health services and other relevant support in their communities. This skills and goals-based program guides young people towards healthy independent living.
