Literacy and Basic Skills

Funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, the Literacy & Basic Skills Program is designed to support learners on one of the following goal paths: Employment, Apprenticeship, Post-Secondary Education, High School Credits, or Independence.

The Literacy & Basic Skills Program is a community-based program that provides free education, training, and upgrading for adults. Upgrading includes skill building for reading, writing, numeracy, digital technology, and essential skills necessary for the workplace. Through personally designed programming based on individual needs, we can help support you to overcome challenges and achieve success.
