Youth Reintegration Program

This program assists at risk youth who are involved in and/or exiting the justice system to successfully transition into the community. Reintegration Services aim is to reduce the youth’s risk of recidivism and support a successful transition into school, work, home, and the community. Referrals for this program are received by Youth Probation Services, Youth Detention Facilities, and through Mental Health Court Diversion.

Important elements of the program are:

  • Developing, implementing, and/or supporting reintegration plans to reduce recidivism.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with other service providers to obtain positive client outcomes.
  • Providing mentorship and life skills coaching to promote positive change.
  • Educational support to encourage academic achievement.
  • Assistance to obtain housing and/or maintain independent living.
  • Employment assessment and navigation to connect with employment opportunities and volunteerism.
  • Assistance in maintaining financial stability and ensuring basic needs are met.
