Currently experiencing homelessness (unsheltered, emergency sheltered) and have within the past six months spent 30 cumulative nights in a provincially-funded institution. OR,
Currently in a provincially-funded institution for 30 days or more and prior to entering the provincially-funded institution had been homeless (unsheltered, emergency sheltered) for six months, and is likely to be homeless upon discharge.

Housing Supports
June 21, 2025 - This program, part of the City of Greater Sudbury Housing First Strategy, operates daily (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm) and assists homeless adult men and sometimes their families to find and maintain permanent housing. Counselling and Case Management services are available on site at JHS’ main office location as well as throughout the community via client accompaniment. All participants complete an intintake assessment and are provided with one on one support. Shelter Diversion
June 21, 2025 - This program provides daily on-site support to the shelter residents to reduce emergency shelter living, and increase the likelihood of long-term housing retention. Staff also assist individuals/families in housing crises to access resources within the community that can assist them in managing their tenancy, and broker additional long-term support through external referrals as required. Intensive Housing-Based Case Management
June 21, 2025 - This program provides intensive case management services to residents housed under the Urgent Homelessness Program with the city of Sault Ste. Marie. This includes working with chronically homeless individuals/families referred from local shelters, jails, and hospitals and with individuals who are at high risk of homelessness.
