September 17, 2025 - An Extrajudicial Measure (EJM) is a referral from either the Peterborough Police Services (PPS), Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), or First Nations Police Services. Instead of pressing charges, a police officer may offer a young person, aged 12-17, an opportunity to participate in the EJM Program at JHS of the Kawarthas. We work with youth ages 12-17 who have been charged with a criminal offence under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (2002). September 17, 2025 - The Attendance Centre provides intensive individual support and psychoeducational programming to youth involved in an active Youth Probation Order. Probation refers the youth to JHS of the Kawarthas for programs that target reducing recidivism.
