Youth Transitional Housing Program

Our Youth Transitional Housing Program provides a safe, supportive environment for youth ages 16-21 working toward independent living. This voluntary, life-skill based program helps residents achieve their goals, such as obtaining a high school diploma (OSSD), pursuing higher education, or securing employment. Key services include budgeting, personal hygiene, cooking, securing and maintaining employment or education, social skills development, healthcare (medical, dental, sexual, and mental health), and positive leisure activities. The program is tailored to each individual’s needs, offering referrals and counselling for areas like anger management, substance abuse, and family issues.

Oshawa House

A semi-independent living environment for youth ages 16-21, offering support seven days a week, including overnight, for those who are self-sufficient but still benefit from assistance in transitioning to independent living.

Whitby House

A structured environment for male youth ages 16-18, focused on motivating constructive life changes. Staff provide ongoing support to help youth develop daily living skills and successfully transition to independent living.
