Institutional Services (IS)

Provide support and assistance to individuals who are imprisoned in the 8 federal penitentiaries throughout the area. Work with individuals to plan for their eventual release and develop networks which will help them once they are released from prison. Successful reintegration planning and preparedness are key to reducing risk factors of reoffending and contributing to community safety. This assistance includes: Pre-Release Planning Group, Phone Services, liason between prisoners and their families, information on policies/procedures of CSC and NPB.
