Record Suspension Support

June 21, 2025 -

A Record Suspension, formerly known as a Pardon, allows those who were convicted of criminal offences and have completed their sentences to have their criminal record removed from the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) database. Obtaining a record suspension can help you to access employment, volunteer, and educational opportunities more easily, and to better reintegrate back into your home communities. The process to obtaining a record suspension can be difficult to navigate. Through our Reintegration Program, our Reintegration Workers can help you determine your eligibility for a record suspension, and can assist you with navigating the various processes, and drafting your application.
