Partner Assault Response (PAR) / Healthy Relationships

This program is provided at the JHSWW Kitchener office only for Kitchener-Waterloo and the townships of Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich. It is geared towards helping individuals who have been abusive in their intimate partner relationships recognize the impact of abuse and grow in skills to prevent abuse and maintain healthy relationships. Both men’s and women’s groups are provided and both cover similar themes. Partner contact is provided for all of the groups. Programs are 12 sessions in length with continuous intake and groups running concurrently. Funding for this program is provided by the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, Victim Services Division for court mandated clients (PAR) and the Kitchener-Waterloo United Way for other referrals (Healthy Relationships).
