Non-Residential Attendance Centre Program (NRAC)

The non-residential Attendance Centre Program focuses on the rehabilitation of youth between the ages of 12 to 17, and their reintegration back into the community. The John Howard Society of Niagara intends to empower the youth enrolled in the program to become positive contributors to the Niagara Region. The program operates in St. Catharines, Welland and Fort Erie and has been designed to be portable. The main goal of the program is to provide effective, youth focused programming on prevention, rehabilitation, and reintegration. The programs available include: Cognitive Skills, Anger Management, Life Skills, Anti-Criminogenic Thinking, Substance Abuse, Girls Group, Victim Awareness, Guys Group, Female Bullying, Literacy and Tutoring, Employment. Funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services.
