Indigenous Services Program – Youth

The John Howard Society of London and District is under contract with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to provide culturally relevant probation supervision for Indigenous youth.
The Society employs Indigenous workers who supervise sentence orders for Indigenous youth residing in London, Woodstock, St. Thomas and the three neighbouring communities: Oneida Nation of the Thames, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, and Munsee-Delaware First Nation. The Indigenous Services workers incorporate traditional Indigenous approaches in their work with clients.
