Domestic Violence program

This program is a joint partnership, led by the John Howard Society of Sudbury. The partners are the Sudbury Counselling Centre, Sudbury Women’s Centre, Sudbury and Area Victim Services, Sudbury-Manitoulin Children’s Aid Society and the Greater Sudbury Police Services. This service includes group and individual counselling for the perpetrators of domestic violence as well as ongoing follow up support for the adult victims of domestic violence. The perpetrators can enter the program at any stage of the criminal justice continuum. It is not a PAR [Partner Assault Response] program. Funding for the program is provided by the United Way of Sudbury and Nipissing Districts, the John Howard Society of Sudbury and associated partners.
