Dads Aiming for Direction and Support (D.A.D.S.)

A 25 hour facilitated, educational and peer supported program for dads experiencing separation or divorce to expand their support network, strengthen relationships with their children, and develop healthy interpersonal, parenting and co-operative parenting skills. Clients talk to our program support staff for pre-screening followed by an appointment with a counselor for assessment and goal setting. Clients are referred by various community services such as: lawyers, courts, probation, employers, child protection workers, medical and social service workers, mental health workers, self, family or friends. Funding is provided by the United Way.
