Community Service Order Program (CSO)

As a probation order or as a conditional sentence, judges may order individuals to perform a specified number of hours of volunteer work in the community, at charitable organizations. JHSWW oversees the completion of these community work orders by setting up work placements, providing support to participating community agencies, and by verifying that the work order has been completed satisfactorily. JHSWW provides this program in both Kitchener and Cambridge. Funding is provided by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
