Attendance Centre

Alternative sentencing option under the YCJA. Youth on an active Probation Order are referred to the Centre to receive Psycho-Educational, Cognitive-Behavioural, and Reality Therapy based programming and counselling. The program is intended for moderate to high risk youth in conflict with the law who require intervention in multiple criminogenic need areas. Goals include reducing recidivism, promoting accountability, and encouraging skill development through evidence-based interventions. Attendance is based on risks and needs, and youth also have the option to participate in workshops, leisure/recreation activities, crisis management, and other programming.
