Community Anger Management Program

Course topics include:

  • Understanding anger as an emotion
  • Identifying personal triggers & healthy calming strategies
  • Impact of stress and how to manage it more effectively
  • Setting healthy boundaries in relationships
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Healthy self esteem
  • Trauma informed approach

Course Details:

  • Fee for service
  • Ten sessions (2 hours each)
  • Continuous intake model (no waitlist)
  • Sessions offered via Zoom, in person or over the phone
  • Private sessions available upon request

IPV

Intimate Partner Violence Program 

IPV is an eight (8) session program offered in a small group setting. The program has been developed utilizing Restorative Practice principles and the Duluth Model to assist individuals who have been involved in incidents or intimate partner violence.

IPV Sessions Include:

  • Defining domestic violence and understanding anger
  • Understanding power & control, cycle of abuse, and intergenerational trauma
  • How beliefs and attitudes influence behaviour
  • Understanding the ABC’s of violence
  • The effect of abuse on children, partner, self & family
  • The impacts of substance use/abuse
  • Building healthy relationships & respectful communication
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
