EMPower is a 24-week employment program offered through the John Howard Society of London and District. The program provides 12-weeks of pre-employment training, followed by a 12-week work placement.
The goal of the program is to help individuals develop job-ready skills through pre-employment training. Following the training, individuals will have an opportunity to apply their new skills in a work setting, while gaining meaningful work experience.
- Eager to get into the workforce
- Individuals who face barriers to employment, including justice involvement
- Priority will be given to those from Black, Indigenous, and Newcomer communities
