The CMP-MT program is an extension of the Integrated Correctional Program Model (ICPM) Multi-Target Programming. This program is designed to address the needs of individuals on federal parole who have been referred to participate in the program. It is a weekly program of 12 structured classroom sessions and each session is 2 hours long. The program assists participants by developing cognitive-behavioural skills that help them identify triggers, challenge harmful thoughts, manage impulsivity and develop pro-social thinking. The program is designed to reduce the risk of re-offending by teaching participants how to apply the skills they learned to real life situations.
