On-Track Student Support Programs

We deliver the On-Track Peer Mediation Program at Westgate High School (Thunder Bay) and the Indigenous Student Support Program at Geraldton Composite High School (Geraldton). These programs aim to resolve in-school conflicts, while supporting students experiencing social, mental health or other related issues.

The On-Track Program offers support and teaches proactive problem solving/conflict resolution skills. Youth attending the high schools are trained as Peer Mediators and assist in developing a resolution to whatever problem has arisen. The coordinator of this program helps students develop their skills as mediators, and forges partnerships in the community to ensure youth have access to support  services.

French Language Services (FLS) can be accessed through the Program Coordinator at Geraldton Composite High School.
