Bail Verification and Supervision Program

Spending time in jail only increases the likelihood of a repeat offence. Our bail program creates a positive intervention for those awaiting trial.

Many of the people we work with don’t have strong connections within their community, and if they do, their friends and family often lack the resources needed to meet the strict conditions of bail. Our program provides the judiciary with a clear alternative plan for outside supervision and support. We then support each person through an assessment and case management tailored to their unique needs.

Away from the confines of a cell, we help people reconnect with their community and address other areas in their life where they may struggle. This program is crucial because it helps prevent past behaviours and habits from reoccurring, resulting in a safer community for all.
